I don’t like and largely ignore “news” articles and social media posts claiming that something caused an outrage. If there aren’t huge protests in the streets, people are not outraged, just annoyed and have a lot of spare time to write nonsense on the internet.
Stop writing about outrage if there aren’t people in the streets. It is easy to be “outraged” on the internet, just like at home or at a pub. In the past, nobody knew about it and nobody cared, and nothing happened.
Do the same now. Unless there are huge protests, ignore it. As Dave Chappelle said, I do not care what people write on Twitter, because Twitter is not a real place.
If you are sitting at home writing nonsense, you are not outraged, you are just bored.
