If you are afraid to say or write something under your own name in a free society, there can be few reasons why
- What you think is bad or bullshit and on some level you know it
- You are not sure if you are right and are afraid of a pushback, conflict or being disproven
- You are convinced that you are right but are afraid to fight for the truth
In the first case, it is better to be silent than to push bullshit anonymously.
In the second case being anonymous or silent means, that you will never figure out if you are right. And that is not good.
In the third case, you are just a coward, and that is also not good.
