When I am sick with a stronger case of a cold or a flu, I feel like I am about to die and can barely move throughout my flat. How did people survive during the history? War, genocide, famine?
This is probably how evolution really worked. Some people can pull through typhus while at the concentration camp, and some, like me, are paralyzed by a flu.
Or is it something else? When I was worse, I did not feel that bad. Is it relative? Maybe if you are too well of any minor inconvenience seems more terrible.
Most probably, both are true and intertwined.
