Adjusting your plan to your actual goals

When people finally overcome the fear of starting with something (exercising, learning, changing a job, finding a partner or anything else) another mistake they usually make is sticking to a plan that does not work.

You wanted to run every morning, but after the first few days you do not anymore? The goal is to run not to run in the morning, so try running in the evening or during lunch break. Instead of an hour, try fifteen minutes.

The online course is boring, and you do not really learn that much? Find another one. Pick a book. Find a mentor. The goal is to learn, not to finish the online course.

If the plan does not work, just think about the objectives and start a new plan.
