Many people in Slovakia do not like USA. But I have yet to met one, that is afraid of them. No Slovak is actually afraid, that Americans will come here and start murdering us.
Many people in Slovakia also like Russia. Yet at the same time, they are afraid that Russians will come here and start murder us.
These two groups have large overlap. And it is strange for me, that you can like someone, whom you are afraid of, and at the same time dislike people, who have claimed, that they will defend you from any attacker.
It is like a wife who was beaten for a long time by her husband, but claims, that she still loves him. And if another man comes and tries to stop him from beating her, she will actually defend the husband and attack the defender.
Something deep is wrong in our society.
